Kraemer Middle students learn about the entertainment industry during visit to Hollywood

Kraemer Middle students enjoy Hollywood.

On Wednesday, November 15, 40 Kraemer Middle School students attended a television taping at Nickelodeon of Crashletes hosted by Olympic gold medalist, Brandi Chastain.

Before the trip, Principal Keith Carmona announced the names of students who were nominated by a teacher for their perseverance, improvement, and citizenship traits displayed through the first quarter of school.

A chartered bus arrived to take the students to Hollywood where they learned about the different career opportunities involved in the entertainment industry.

After the show, students dined at McDonalds and visited the El Capitan Theater, Grahman’s, The Dolby, and watched the red carpet roll out for Denzel Washington’s new movie premiere. WEB teacher, Danielle Sabia, and Activities Director, Ricky Castro, helped chaperone the event organized by Shane Twamley, Kraemer’s Intervention Coordinator.
