Ruby Drive students select new books as part of “Reading Is Fundamental” book distribution

Ruby Drive students after selecting their new book.

Ruby Drive Elementary School held their first of three RIF (Reading Is Fundamental) book distributions at the beginning of December.  Each student chooses one free book from a nice selection of brightly-colored, fiction, and non-fiction stories.  The students also receive a free bookmark. This event is held in the library where it is turned into a Winter Wonderland during December.

Pictured are Preppy-K students after selecting their new books along with teacher, Anell Nevarez-Carrera, and Librarian, Sue Bringhurst.
