Harvard University hosts prospective student interviews at Valencia High School

Valencia students after interviewing for Harvard.

Harvard University hosted their 2018 North Orange County Super Saturday senior applicant interviews at Valencia High School (VHS) last Saturday, January 27, 2018.

Harvard is currently the top American university in terms of selectivity, admitting only 5% of the over 40,000 freshman applicants.  Prospective seniors from over a dozen local high schools participated in hour-long interview sessions hosted by admissions personnel and alumni from the university. Six Valencia seniors — Sally Fang, JiYoo Jeong, Jacob Pan, Ethan Theo, and May Wang participated in the Harvard Super Saturday interviews. Harvard will announce the admissions results for the class of 2022 in late March.

The students are pictured here with VHS counselor, Mark Stanley.
