Wagner GATE students publish first edition of the school’s new video broadcast, P.A.W.S. Press

Wagner PAWS students.

Wagner Elementary School GATE students recently scripted, filmed, edited, and published the first edition of P.A.W.S. Press, which stands for Positively Announcing With Smiles.  GATE Coordinator and teacher, Ms. Carrie Pipkin, created the unique opportunity for students to be creative, think critically, and collaborate.

P.A.W.S. students meet every Tuesday and Thursday after school to work on the monthly broadcast.  Segments include information about upcoming events and fundraisers, in addition to clips and interviews that show Wagner’s school spirit.

“We are very proud of our GATE students and thank Ms. Pipkin for her leadership!” shared proud principal, Janice Weber.
