On Tuesday, February 20, five Val Tech students (Armanul Ambia, Justin Chen, Lauren Mard, Rachel Soong, and James Tran) were given the opportunity to visit Boeing to celebrate Engineering Week.
The Tigers started their day hearing from Boeing’s Chief Engineer, John Kremer, and were given the opportunity to ask questions and hear the first-hand experiences of five current engineers. After lunch, the students were able to complete in three hands-on events including a catapult launch, helium balloon design challenge, and a newspaper tower design challenge.
The students were excited to be a part of the day and are looking forward to the opportunity to be a part of the Boeing Summer Internship Program.
