St. Patrick’s Day at George Key School

St. Patrick's Day at George Key.

Top O’ The Morning To Ya! George Key School was the place to be this “St. Patrick’s Day,” where students and staff posed in the Leprechaun’s photo booth decked out in green, gold, and shamrocks. The staff enjoyed a baked potato bar potluck, which was a FEAST for all.

The best part of the day came after lunch for the “Green Drink Contest.” Each class was asked to submit a St. Patrick’s Day themed beverage for the event. The school’s new speech specialist, Louie, was chosen to be the judge of the event. He took his role VERY seriously, cleansing his palate after each drink.

Classes were awarded certificates for Best Presentation, Best Tasting, and Nice Try.  George Key has found that the best way to welcome a new staff member is an array of drinks smothered in Luck Charms, wrapped in shamrock garland, and served with a side of Golden Oreos. George Key has the best St. Patrick’s Day celebration around!
