On Friday, March 16, members of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) family were treated to an Easter Bunny Bash at the Association of Placentia Linda Educators (APLE) office. There were plenty of activities for all of the children, but the highlight of the event was the special guest, the Easter Bunny, also known as Kevin Lee, the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for PYLUSD.
APLE members from all over the District brought their children and grandchildren to this magical event. Children decorated eggs and cookies, had their faces painted, and made “bunny” ears and bracelets. By far, the favorite activity of all was having pictures taken with the Easter Bunny.
Esperanza High School (EHS) students volunteered their time to help make this such a special afternoon for the organization’s families. The event was organized by EHS teacher, Mike Sayre. APLE was very pleased to provide this family-oriented event!
