The Valencia High School (VHS) Gold Team (5-2 record, 5th place) played its 8th and final regular season eSports match against Fountain Valley High School’s Blue Team (6-1 record, 2nd place) on Wednesday, March 21.
Following a best-of-three match, the Tigers won and are headed to the playoffs with a predicted rank of 3rd or 4th! Quarterfinal playoffs will take place April 14 and 15, and if the Gold Team makes it to the semis and the finals, those matches will take place on April 28.
The VHS Gold Team is just 1 of 38 that are competing as part of the inaugural Orange County High School Esports League, which launched in January.
