Performing Arts Center wins design award

The National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) recently announced the winners of the 2015 NCMA/Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) Concrete Masonry Design Awards of Excellence.

The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Performing Arts Center (PAC), on the campus of El Dorado High School, received the “Award of Merit — Commercial.” The building was recognized for its outstanding use of concrete masonry units, segmental retaining wall units and interlocking concrete pavers.

The Concrete Masonry Design Awards of Excellence showcase the design versatility of masonry products and how they are successfully used today.
