Documentary about El Dorado alumnus Jason Freese screened at student film fest

The short student documentary film “Jason Freese: The Man Behind the Keys” was screened as an “Official Selection” of the 13th annual International Student Film Festival Hollywood, which took place in the NoHo Arts District in North Hollywood on Sunday, Nov. 15.

The film was produced by El Dorado High School Digital Media Arts Academy (DMAA) (Film and Video) juniors Caleb Garrett, Connor Colby, Kyle Reed and Adam Gorny. The film features EDHS grad and international recording artist Jason Freese of the band Green Day.

The video was also named “Best Documentary” at the 2015 El Dorado Film Festival, and won “Best Documentary” in the 16-18 age category at the 2015 Orange County Fair.
