Recently, Ruby Drive Elementary’s Saturday school visual arts project was titled, “Inspired By Nature.” Using the forms and shapes of leaves, Ruby Drive Preppy -K through 5th graders practiced guided drawings of leaves with added doodles and color to create their own original touch.
For the background of the project, students had fun scraping and blending acrylic paints. Once the doodled leaves were glued to the painted paper background, students were proud of the vibrant works of art they had created!
