On May 1, Brookhaven Elementary School Kindergarten students celebrated The Global Day of Design. Four STEM challenges were set up where students could choose their activity and were free to move about both classrooms to try new challenges.
The Global Day of Design is one-day that focuses on using the Design Thinking process in school. The goal of this day is to inspire a transformation in schools around the world to incorporate design into an everyday practice with students. The Bears loved the STEM challenges, working together, and being creative, inventive and successful!
