CSUF student organization donates box tops to Glenview Elementary

Glenview Elementary box top pictures.

For the second year in a row, the Child and Adolescent Studies Student Association, or CASSA, has partnered with Glenview Elementary School to collect Box Tops for Education!

CASSA is a student organization from California State University, Fullerton where members are provided with opportunities to develop leadership skills. CASSA organizes volunteer activities such as fundraising walk-a-thons for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and March for Babies, as well as visiting and interacting with children in orphanages and helping out at various events going on in the community.

This year, CASSA members collected over 400 Box Tops for Education and chose to donate them to Glenview’s PTA!  These box tops are a source of funding for field trips, school supplies, and special schools events. The picture shows CASSA board members, Luis Cordoba and Cynthia Zendejas visiting Mrs. Solyom’s first grade class to present the box tops and answer questions about college.

Yay, Bulldogs!
