Twenty one PYLUSD students earn top Girl Scout awards at May ceremony

PYLUSD girl scouts.

On Monday, May 21, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) had 21 students who earned their Girl Scout Silver Award, the highest honor that a participant can receive in middle school.  The award ceremony took place at the Yorba Linda Community Center.

In addition, four PYLUSD students also earned their Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest honor a participant can receive in high school.

According to the Girl Scouts, their mission is to builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Great job, Scouts!
