Van Buren reaches Jog-A-Thon goal, principal and teacher dress up as princesses

Van Buren Elementary School recently reached its Jog-A-Thon fundraising goal.

Before the event, the school announced a challenge — the top fundraiser would get to choose something crazy for the staff to do.

Fourth grade student Kendra Adams was the winning Jog-A-Thon fundraiser, and she decided that Principal Connie Roe and second grade teacher Stephanie Scott dressed up as princesses for the day. Mrs. Roe is Princess Pixie, and Ms. Scott is Princess Coco.

Congrats to all students who worked their best to raise funds for a worthy cause.
