Tuffree Middle School’s “Where Everyone Belongs” (WEB) leaders met for the first time on Friday, September 21 with their assigned 7th grade classmates to mentor them. The students learned each other’s names, participated in a team building activity, talked about how to check their grades online, and discussed the school’s first dance coming up.
At Tuffree, each and every 7th grader is assigned two WEB mentors who they will meet with monthly in small groups.
“This is so important to help our 7th graders adjust to middle school and make connections with each other,” shared principal, Cindy Freeman.
