Bryant Ranch Student Service Club makes sandwiches for the homeless

In conjunction with Friends of Mitzvah Meals, Bryant Ranch School fourth and fifth graders made over 50 sandwiches for those in need.

Mitzvah Meals member Cheryl Escoe gave a brief overview so students could understand the purpose of making sandwiches. According to Second Harvest Food Bank, an estimated 615,000 Orange County residents are at risk of going hungry. The sandwiches will be distributed to the following centers: Southwest Community Center, Grand Street Center, Isaiah House, Casa Teresa, Wise Place and Western Service Workers.

Today, Bryant Ranch students helped make a local impact for those in need.
