Rose Drive Elementary “Breaks the Bank” with a food drive

The Rose Drive Elementary School Roadrunners spent the last two weeks in November collecting food and personal care items for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. They succeeded in collecting almost 1,700 items school-wide. What an appropriate way to give back and show generosity to those in need. Thank you students and families for your incredible support of this worthy cause. Special thanks to Mrs. Woodward for coordinating this important event.

Pictured is the Roadrunner leadership team of fifth graders with the final collection. They spent the morning counting each item to determine the overall totals, as well as the class with the highest contributions.
