Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Administrator of Student Services, Rick Riegel, and McKinney Vento Homeless Student Liaison, Jon Matson, recently attended the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth (NAECHY) Conference in Anaheim.
Highlighted as apart of the conference was the District’s very own Morales Family including Rio Vista Elementary School fifth grader, Ashley, Valadez Middle School Academy students Miguel and Diego, and Valencia High School’s Jeannine Morales.
The family performs as the Mariachi Los Hermanos Morales, and gave an outstanding performance at the conference reception. Conference attendees from all over the United States were thrilled with the excellent musical presentation from our very own talented PYLUSD students.
