On November 7, Valencia High School hosted an AVID Demo Showcase Visit to educators from Brea Olinda High School, Trabuco Hills High School, and Friends Christian Middle School.
Visitors were able to visit classrooms where exemplar WICOR strategies were on display by Rachel Schiff, Joe Secoda and David Quintero, David Chung, and Corinna Harnett. Visitors were also able to speak to a panel of AVID students, parents, and staff members.
“Thank you to everyone involved for making our school shine,” said Principal Olivia Yaung.
