Valencia AVID students tour local universities

Valencia High School AVID students have been busy visiting local colleges and universities. In October, 10th grade students had the opportunity to walk to California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) and 11th grade students were able to visit Cal Poly Pomona.

Also, senior AVID students were able to visit California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) last month. The self-guided tour was given by the school’s very own AVID Coordinator and teacher, Mrs. Harnett, who is also an alumni of CSULB!
