On Tuesday, December 4, artists from El Camino Real High School were invited to an arts gala and awards ceremony for the 10th Annual Exposed Art and Literature Contest. The contest is supported by the Friends of the Yorba Linda Public Library, the Yorba Linda Arts Alliance, and the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum.
This year’s theme was “Out of Focus.” Students produced graphic images reflecting the theme as well as narrative explanations of their art. El Camino Real students swept the Graphic Design category of the competition, earning first, second, and third place as well as two honorable mention awards. In total, 13 ECRHS students were finalists in the Graphic Design category. Go, Raptors!
