On Friday, February 22, Valencia High School (VHS) AVID juniors were able to travel to Chapman University to hear from the law school Director of Admissions regarding the ins and outs of law school. Students also heard from a panel of law students regarding their journey into law school and what type of law they wish to pursue in the future.
In addition, the Tigers were given the opportunity to “practice law” by being able to give a stance on an important issue and argue their point of view with their classmates. Lastly, students were given a tour of the entire Chapman University campus.
“It was a wonderful experience for all,” shared counselor, Elizabeth Nasouf.
