On Monday, March 11, Valadez Middle School Academy hosted Dr. Scott Braden, author of the book, “Win their Hearts, Win their Minds.” Dr. Braden’s visit was planned specially for the school’s staff development meeting in the morning before school.
During this time, he outlined his conceptual approach of building relationships with students and how becoming “Dream Makers” instead of “Dream Breakers” aligns with the school’s approach of mentoring and inspiring Valadez Soaring Eagles students!
“Dr. Braden’s message confirms our school wide approach of “peeling the onion” so we can solidify our relationships with our students in an effort to get to know them by name, face and especially STORY,” noted Principal Cuco Gracian.
