George Key students spread joy at local senior living facility

George Key School recently organized a service project for the local residents at Eastern Star Assisted Living facility. With items donated by the community, staff, and parents, the students filled decorated bags with self care supplies for the residents. Each bag contained toiletries, home goods, as well as some hard candy as a special treat.

On Sunday, March 28, a group of staff met with students and their families to hand deliver the bags.

“It was amazing to see the joy in the resident’s faces as they were given these hand crafted bags by the George Key students,” Principal Kim Smith mentioned. “What a pleasure it was to see the students at Key using their unique skills to bring joy to others.”
