On Monday, May 20, Yorba Linda High School’s (YLHS) Jazz Band had the opportunity to meet and play for former United States Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, during an event at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda.
Then, on Wednesday, May 22, Yorba Linda’s jazz groups along with Travis Ranch School performed with world-renowned trumpet player, Wayne Bergeron. Wayne has performed in movies such as La La land, The Incredibles, and many other big Hollywood movies.
“It’s been a great week for YLHS Jazz!” shared Director of Bands, Bincins Garcia.
