The Bryant Ranch School Green Team participated in a worldwide Waste Reduction Campaign this school year. Notably, the Explorers were chosen as a finalist out of 80 competing teams across the globe and were in the top 10 highest scoring teams!

At the school’s last pep rally of the year, a representative from a non-profit organization came to present certificates to Green Team Waste Campaign leaders for their hard work and dedication.

Additionally, some of Bryant Ranch’s students attended an Impact-a-Thon Youth Summit. At the Impact-a-Thon, youths from across the nation were invited for an environmental awareness summit.

There, Bryant Ranch School was recognized and honored by the California State Assembly and won an award for Most Creative Display. The Green Team displayed how to reduce paper waste by “up-cycling” cardboard lunch trays and making seed bombs using scratch paper.

“We are so proud of their accomplishments,” shared Principal Shannon Robles.
