El Camino Real High School 2019 commencement ceremony

ECRHS graduation 2019.

On Tuesday, June 11, El Camino Real High School (ECRHS) held its 2019 commencement ceremony in Bradford Stadium at Valencia High School. Following the 2018-19 school year, the school awarded 69 students with their high school diploma.

The ceremony included a long list of distinguished guests such as Board of Education Vice President, Eric Padget, Clerk, Judi Carmona, Trustees, Karin Freeman and Carol Downey, as well as Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Superintendent, Dr. Greg Plutko, Deputy Superintendent, Candy Plahy, Assistant Superintendents, David Giordano and Rick Lopez, Directors, Cary Johnson and Carrie Bisgard, and Principal Carey Aiello.

Graduates Jennifer Guadalupe Dominguez Bolano and Bailey Bible delivered speeches filled with themes of perseverance and gratitude towards the unique environment El Camino Real offered as a continuation high school. They also thanked the Raptors’ dedicated faculty and staff for their unwavering support to their graduating class.

Of the 69 ECRHS students, 22 earned Honor Roll Distinction, 3 have committed to joining a branch of the military, and 1 is graduating one full-year early. In addition, all graduates also completed a minimum of 60 hours of community service and earned over $5,000 in scholarships.
