On June 10, Topaz Elementary School in Fullerton held a special AVID signing event. Eleven sixth grade students, who were accepted into the Tuffree Middle School’s AVID program, had the chance to take a pledge in front of their fellow classmates, teachers, and administrators.
After pledging to participate in the AVID program, they signed their acceptance letters and had the opportunity to greet their future AVID teachers from Tuffree. Paul La Porte and Principal Christa Borgese were there to congratulate the future AVID students.
