Financial Aid Night at Valencia

Valencia High School’s Counseling Department hosted their Financial Aid Night on Wednesday, Dec. 9, as a part of their Tiger University workshop series for students and parents. The event yielded a record-breaking crowd of nearly 400 students and parents. Presentations were offered in both English and Spanish, and free childcare was provided by students from Valencia’s AVID program. Information was provided on the overall financial aid process, and the necessary forms that need to be completed in order to be considered for federal and/or state aid: Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), California DREAM Act and Cal Grant.
