Parkview School tennis stars shine around the world this summer!

Kyle Kang, a 9th grade student Parkview School, competed this summer in the World Junior Tennis Team Championship representing Team USA. Notably, Kyle and Team USA won first place in the Czech Republic this past August. Kyle (pictured second from the left above) along with his teammates competed against fellow players from Japan, Croatia, Germany, Bulgaria, China, Romania, Thailand, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Egypt, and Peru!

Also, Charlotte Chavatipon, a 12th grade Parkview School student is ranked 61 in the world in tennis and competed this summer in the French Open. Charlotte just finished playing in the U.S. Open with a narrow loss to Argentina.

“We are so proud of our Parkview students Kyle and Charlotte!” shared Principal James Hardin.

Parkview School is the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District’s K-12 home school program designed for students who desire an alternative to traditional classroom instruction. Instructional strategies may include independent study, online learning, concurrent classes, and workshops.
