Although Esperanza High School women’s golf lost to Fountain Valley High School on Tuesday, September 10, the team shot the school’s best score in the last ten years at Mile Square Golf Club! The final score was 190 to 207.

The school’s veteran players, Jayden Pritchett, Tiffany Skates, and Nalani Sam led the way for the Aztecs with 39, 40, and 41 respectively. Hayley Burke had her best finish thus far shooting 42, and Avery Hancock rounded out the top five with a solid 45.

The Aztecs will battle Fountain Valley High School again on Thursday, but this time, at home. Good luck, Aztecs!
