Esperanza Aztecs are engaged in math and chemistry

EHS lesson.

Algebra 2 classes at Esperanza High School recently looked at parabolic models through launching stomp rockets. The students launched the rockets and timed how long they were in the air. They then used their math skills to calculate how high and how far the rockets went on each launch. They also observed their flight pattern. (pictured below)

Esperanza’s chemistry students are also engaged while examining elements. They worked together while lighting elements on fire to see the cause and effect and reaction of the elements. (pictured above)

Keep up the thoughtful work, Aztecs!
