Orange County Sheriff’s Department donates jail-grown pumpkins for Travis Ranch students to decorate

On Tuesday, Oct. 23, personnel from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department harvested 57 pumpkins from “The Farm” and delivered them to students at Travis Ranch Elementary School in Yorba Linda.

On October 23, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department delivered 57 pumpkins to students at Travis Ranch School in Yorba Linda. Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District School Resource Officer, OCSD Deputy Nick Doty, organized the delivery and brought seven Yorba Linda Police Service deputies to help students paint and decorate the pumpkins before Halloween. Click here to read the full story courtesy of Behind the Badge.
