Valencia CyberPatriots team ranks in top 1% in the nation following first competition

Valencia High School's cyberpatriots team.

Congratulations to the Valencia High School CyberPatriot Teams on an excellent 1st round of the CyberPatriot XII competition October 25-27. All teams scored enough points to compete in the second round, and half of the school’s teams scored in the top 30% of teams in the nation. The second round will take place November 15-17.

The Tigers’ top team scored a perfect score on the competition which put them in the top 1% of all teams competing. Spencer Burke, Samuel Chen, Aaron Chew, Aarav Patel, Rohith Venkatesh and Brendan Wong all worked together to finish 25th out of the 2,500 teams competing.

All of Valencia’s teams, which also includes two students from Yorba Linda High School this year, compete again on November 16. That day, it will be the teams’ goal to earn as many points as possible for ranking in the state round of competition on December 7. Great work, CyberPatriot Tigers!
