On Thursday, November 7, the El Dorado High School Concert Choir presented an inspirational performance at the Disneyland Resort as a part of their “Community Arts Showcase.” This opportunity is open to choirs across Southern California by audition only. This is the second consecutive year that El Dorado’s ensemble has been chosen.

The Concert Choir is EDHS Choral Music’s non-auditioned ensemble comprised of 125 students grades 9th through 12th. The majority of these students are first year high school choir students. Their performance consisted of 50’s tunes, holiday classics, and more uplifting music. Almost 200 Disneyland Resort visitors stopped by to experience the incredible “Choral Hawks.” The program was awarded an engraved plaque at the end of their showcase.

The school’s Advanced Choirs were also selected for this high honor and will perform at the Disneyland Resort on February 28, 2020.

“We were honored to be accepted another year,” Ryan Yoder, Director of Choral Music, shared. “It was a wonderful experience for the students to share our music with the community at the Disneyland Resort.”
