El Dorado’s campus decorated with American flags to honor veterans

Flag decorating at EDHS.

On November 8, El Dorado High School hosted its 7th annual Veterans Day War Memorial Ceremony. In preparation for the event, on November 7, students and staff planted flags around the school’s memorial. The effort was led by the school’s social science department. Each flag was placed carefully with notes attached to honor loved ones, friends, and the school’s 3 fallen soldiers. It was a touching display of warmth for the entire school community and especially, the veterans in attendance at the ceremony the next day.
