Gil Cisneros, United States Congressman for District 39, held a town hall meeting at the Yorba Linda Community Center this past October to address questions and concerns from his local constituents. There, Travis Ranch Middle School students and families had the opportunity to take a look at the nation’s democracy in action.
Several students asked the Congressman questions about issues important to them and received a first-hand experience participating in the democracy that they are learning about in their very own U.S. History class this school year. The students even had the opportunity to snap a photo with Representative Cisneros.
Then, on November 18, the Congressman featured the picture of himself with Travis Ranch students on his Facebook page. What an honor!
