The week before Thanksgiving Recess, kindergarten students at Bryant Ranch School were challenged to hide the “turkey” so he wouldn’t become “dinner.” Using a variety of classroom manipulatives and materials, the kindergartners worked together in pairs to create a structure that would hide their turkey. The students really enjoyed this exciting STEM activity, even though a number of them groaned when it was time to cleanup. Happy Thanksgiving, Explorers!
