The Yorba Linda Sunrise Rotary Club recently funded nearly $5,000 worth of teacher grants to schools in the area. A few examples of projects funded include a Smart TV for the Yorba Linda Middle School library, drone equipment for science classes, and large inflatable shapes and a parachute for special needs classes at Travis Ranch School, flexible classroom furniture and equipment for a mindfulness space at Linda Vista Elementary School, flexible seating for a 3rd grade class at Glenknoll Elementary School, a liquid nitrogen tank for chemistry classes at Esperanza High School, and a class set of calculators for math at Bernardo Yorba Middle School.
