After competing in a grueling Fullerton Tournament the week before last with a record of 3-1 and earning 2nd place, the Esperanza High School varsity womens basketball team entered into the local Orangewood Tournament. More determined than ever, the womens team earned the 1st place trophy and came up a winner! The Aztecs faced tough opponents at the tournament including the home team with a tenacity that never slowed going 4-0 for the championship.
