Fairmont Elementary School presents Peter Pan Jr. with special guests

Fairmont play.

It was a night to remember when Fairmont Elementary School’s PTA partnered with Center Stage Theater in their production of Peter Pan Jr. This included two talented and dedicated casts that totaled over 260 students who put in several months of practice to perform in four shows.

Opening night was on Thursday, January 30 and went through Sunday, February 1 at the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District Performing Arts Center. It was a great reminder to all that with hard work and determination, dreams can come true!

Fairmont Elementary principal, Cindy Rex, introduced the play and described it as “good, wholesome fun!” She later made a surprise appearance in the production as a pirate! Assistant principal, Terry Mulcahy, also made a cameo as a pirate in the Friday night performance.

Many Fairmont families, teachers, volunteers, and administrators went multiple times to support their children and students. According to Mrs. Mulcahy, there was never a dull moment. It was a great experience for all students, now “actors,” to get involved in performing arts at school.
