Yorba Linda Middle School’s choir recently received exciting news. The Bobcats will be performing at Carnegie Hall in New York, New York for the National Memorial Concert Remembering 9/11! Steve McCann, the school’s choir teacher, submitted an application for his students to perform and they were accepted!
The concert will take place in the beautiful and historic Stern Auditorium, Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall. This concert features First Responders and Survivors of the devastation of September 11, 2001. The Spirit of America will be portrayed through music and spoken word, programmed to honor all those affected by the tragic events of that day, while inspiring all who participate to join together in building a brighter future.
