El Dorado’s Xander Pietenpol is the “Artist of the Week”

Xander Pietenpol, 17, will play God in his next performance. The El Dorado High senior “likes testing out other people's lives.” He played Gaston in “Beauty and the Beast” and Joseph in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” The aspiring actor is a huge role model to others, according to his Placentia High instructor. © CINDY YAMANAKA, ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER

Congratulations to El Dorado High School senior Xander Pietenpol for being named the Orange County Register “Artist of the Week.” Theater teacher Kathleen Switzer at El Dorado High School refers to Xander Pietenpol as “an artist to the core” and gushes that “he’s seriously loved by the staff because he is such a kind, giving kid. He takes the young kids under his wing. He is a dream to work with because he takes risks and makes big choices.”.
