Since opening its doors in 2016, the Spanish Dual Language Academy at Glenview Elementary School in Anaheim has served as a great source of pride in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.
Now in its fourth year, the program boasts eight full classes of kindergarten, first, second, and third grade students. Students in the program participate in a 50% English and 50% Spanish model of instruction every day by learning to read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.
In 2023, the first Dual Language Academy kindergarten class will enter into seventh grade, continuing the program at Bernardo Yorba Middle School in Yorba Linda.
