Parkview’s Speech and Debate Team earns top accolades following local tournament

On Sunday, February 23, Parkview School’s Speech and Debate Team competed in the ACLA Intramural Tournament at California State University, Fullerton. Students Regina Rodeghiero, Nathan Guerrero, and Paige Ollivier represented the Parkview Panthers in a tournament that had over 15 schools from Orange County and Los Angeles. Regina took home 4th place in the SPAR Debate and 2nd place in Impromptu Speaking. Paige was a finalist in both Impromptu Speaking and SPAR Debate. Nathan was the top competitor in SPAR Debate and Original Narrative taking home 1st place in both events. Congratulations, students!

Parkview School is the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District’s K-12 home school program designed for students who desire an alternative to traditional classroom instruction. Instructional strategies may include independent study, online learning, concurrent classes, and workshops.
