On Wednesday, March 3, Bernardo Yorba Middle School administrators had the honor of participating in Glenview Elementary School’s “Read Across America” celebration. Principal Beth Fisher and Counselor Staci Callaway read books to the future Matadors!
Launched in 1998 by the National Education Association (NEA), Read Across America Day was created as a way to encourage children to read. It later developed into a year-round program, with special celebrations each March.
