SchoolsFirst displays unique pieces of art created by YLMS students

YLMS art.

This year more than ever, art class is serving as a creative outlet for students across the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. Art students at Yorba Linda Middle School mastered the therapeutic art techniques of drawing “Zentangles.” Both in-person hybrid and remote students demonstrated a mastery of Zentangle design in a Typography project taught by Mrs. Tangney.

With the help of the district’s Visual Art Program Specialist, Janmarie Halliday, the Bobcats’ art project has been on public display for the community to see at the local SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union located on Chapman and Kraemer. Way to go, Bobcats!
