Glenknoll’s Tyler Armstrong summits Mount Cayambe in Ecuador

Eleven-year-old Tyler Armstrong of Yorba Linda completed the 19,000-foot trek of Ecuador's Mount Cayambe over winter break. Tyler is gearing up to become the youngest person to climb Mount Everest – the world’s tallest mountain at 29,000 feet.

Congratulations to Glenknoll Elementary School sixth grader Tyler Armstrong who climbed Mount Cayambe in Ecuador over winter recess. Tyler is raising $1 million toward finding a cure for a rare form of muscular dystrophy, Duchenne.
