Esperanza’s AVID students craft individualized poems

Esperanza High School’s 9th grade AVID students recently created poems about themselves! To accompany their poems, each student also created a poster to help classmates learn their unique skills and individuality as AVID students.

AVID, which stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination, is a nationwide non-profit organization devoted to closing the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.
